Our deepest sympathy to our sisterinlaw Louise. We know this is a very difficult time for you.We hope you will take comfort in the love and fond memories you shared with Johnny for 67 years. Our sympathy to
Dennis,Dick,Chrissy and Gayle who we can’t thank enough for all she has done.
I have so many fond, happy memories of my brother Johnny. Because of distance, we only saw each other once a year, but talked on the phone every Friday. To describe my brother Johnny is easy-he’s the one who always made me laugh. He had an optimistic zest for life. He was young at heart and fun to be around. I will miss my brother and our Friday phone calls hearing his voice say “Hi Sis.” I know he is in a better place now. We are sorry we cannot be there in person, but our love, thoughts and prayers will be with all of you.
Love, Kathy & Bill

We all will miss Johnny. Condolences and Love.
He was my big brother. He took me to school
for my first day at first grade. He taught me
to use my first BB gun. He taught me how to
hunt and fish. I got to shoot his big shot gun
and borrowed it after I grew up for hunting.
He taught me not to smoke because he did not. During some difficult years he joined the
CCC at age 17. He served in the Army Infantry
during some trying times and was in a fox hole in Germany for the dreaded Battle of
the Bulge. I sent him a large gift package of
warm clothes and dry socks which is what he
needed through my other brother Charley
who was stationed near by. I remember his
jovial personality and good humor. He worked
so hard for so many years. He loved his retirement home with the yard and flowers. My memories go on and on. I know that God must have loved him too.

Dear Louise,
I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of John and am sorry that I was not able to see you at calling hours today. I’m glad that Claudette was able to be there.
I’ll miss the twinkle in John’s eye and his good cheer, even when things were rough. I’ve enjoyed the hugs with both of you. We will certainly miss seeing John and are glad that you’ve had many anniversaries to celebrate with him.

Goodbye Uncle Johnny. I remember you always calling my dad (Jules) “Bud” a term of endearment that meant a lot to him. I remember that Johnny loved going to Vegas with Aunt Louise as they enjoyed the action and the shows, it was their favorite getaway. One time dad and I visited you in Indianapolis and after dinner we drove over to the Indy Speedway. It was closed, and i remember U. Johnny trying schmooze the guard and telling him “these guys came all the way from Calif., can’t you let them in to take a look around”. No one would ever accuse Uncle Johnny of being shy! What a courageous man you were in so many ways. See you in the next world.
